Undergraduate Academic Officer

In order to have a concentration PROPOSAL form approved, you need to have an in-person meeting with the STS Undergraduate Officer, Professor Robin Scheffler.

Students may meet with Prof. Scheffler about concentration proposal form approvals, concentration class changes, transfer credit advising (for STS-related subjects), and pursuing a minor or joint or double major in STS.

To meet with Prof. Scheffler,  you can use his calendly link or email him at rws42@mit.edu and cc Stephanie Brandão Carvalho, sbrandao@mit.edu, especially if you just have a question that she may be able to answer.

If you are making changes to your approved proposal form before submitting your completion, please send an email to Prof. Scheffler about the change, and submit the change online. If you are submitting a completion form for a concentration proposal that was approved and has no changes, just go ahead and submit your form online.
