Undergraduate Academic Officer

In order to have a concentration PROPOSAL form approved, you need to have an in-person meeting with the STS Undergraduate Officer, Professor Dwai Banerjee.

Students may meet with Prof. Banerjee about concentration proposal form approvals, concentration class changes, transfer credit advising (for STS-related subjects), and pursuing a minor or joint or double major in STS.

To meet with Prof. Banerjee, please use his calendly link. You can also email him at dwai@mit.edu and cc Karen Gardner kgardner@mit.edu, especially if you just have a question that she may be able to answer.

If you are making changes to your approved proposal form before submitting your completion, please send an email to Prof. Banerjee about the change, and submit the change online. If you are submitting a completion form for a concentration proposal that was approved and has no changes, just go ahead and submit your form online.

Students with any questions about doing a concentration, minor or major in STS, transfer credits, classes, or anything else related to STS academics are welcome to reach out to the STS Academic Administrator, Karen Gardner.
